The War Dolls - Girls Game Too!

So the tau codex has come out, which is kind of neat, looks like a lot of really cool stuff for them so far.  But that is neither here nor there now is it, this is Fun with Tyranids not Time with Tau.  SO LET US BEGIN.

Fun With Tyranids: Firey Pyerey

(Or better said, what can you do with a bloody pyrovore)

So it is pretty universally accepted that the pyrovore sucks giant donkey balls, like the really really big kind that fester and smell funny.  This is mainly thought because there are so many more useful and rock solid Elite choices in the Tyranid 5th edition codex.  I mean when you look at choices like Zoanthropes, or The Doom of Malan’tai, and of course the Hive Guard who go without saying, it really sucks by comparison.

“But wait ERW (aka Rachel), this is Fun With Tyranids, not Tyranids suck giant donkey balls” you say, and you would be right, this is Fun with Tyranids.  I am just getting all the suck out of the way at the get go.

First off, as far as stats go they aren’t that impressive, thought the S4 standard on the CC weapons is kind of nice over the normal S4 for little guys.  It only has 2 wounds though, and toughness 4 so it can be instant deathed.  The BS and WS are suck but those are unimportant due to how this thing works.  Nice part is it has acid blood so if it gets hurt in close combat, they take a initiative test or take a wound, which is just hilarious.  Also it has a heavy flamer so S5 AP4 ignores cover, and an acid maw that makes it so it ignores armour saves in close combat.

It costs 45 points so not overly much, you can put it in a spore and drop it in for another 40 points.  The main thing to remember is this thing will die very soon after it comes into play, if only because it doesn’t take much and many will go for the kill point.

But the best part, BURN IT WITH FIRE MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.

Seriously though dude…fire, I do love me some fire.
