This is a selection from my Space Engineers Workshop page on Steam. Enjoy!OreShips

The RD-32 (commonly referred to as “The Ox”) is the designation for the automated ore ships currently used by Sanctuary Industries to ferry goods from place to place. They are fitted to accept the standard SI Container and it’s smaller variants. While they do generally get where they are going, rarely one of these guys do get lost, stolen or otherwise mysteriously vanish. Since a search and rescue for a simple minded robot is far more costly than replacing them, they aren’t generally equipped with open locators and/or radio equipment. This also makes it harder for pirates to find them. Even so, they are still equipped with minor defenses.

The engineering division is currently working to enhance the A.I. incorporated into the RD-3x line. The projected RD-33 is expected to have better navigation ability and more finely tuned thruster control. They are expecting to have it be able to auto-dock with this next generation. There’s also been rumors that they will be designed a bit more aestetically pleasing, but this would incur even more capital in a ship that’s designed purely for function and not to be seen.

mm-mr-furiousThis article from last week is starting to gain ground in it’s spread around the internet. I watched the video there with disbelief. “Why on earth would someone do this?” I asked myself. I’ve been in gaming for a long time, and seen my fair share of tantrums, rage-quits and lost tempers (might have had some of these myself) but this takes the cake.

That may have been the whole point of this video. Getting attention. However, we’re going to assume that’s not the case. For science. Continue Reading

I’m working on building up some Dark Eldar (hopefully this was obvious) allies for my Iybraesil forces. Now that, with the release of the new Eldar codex, the Howling Banshees are no longer in my penalty box, I wanted to revisit a list I had been working on earlier this year – Banshees in Raiders!. I acquired this model some time back and have begun the work to bring her to the table just recently.

high_elf_queen_by_kcsummerz-d7mu46aI do believe I mentioned that I was waiting eagerly for the D&D Next playtest to complete and for 5th edition to be ‘official’. Well that happened last fall, and around Christmas-time yours truly received her Dungeon Master’s guide finally. 🙂 I waffled back and forth for a long time over Forgotten Realms – easily my favorite pre-designed campaign setting vs. my own home-brew setting “Yevindor”. 40kWarriorI’m kicking off a campaign again! I have been planning for some time, but with the advent of 7th edition looming, I decided to put any action on hold. It’s good that I did, as it gave me time to plan, revise and tweak my Cami-paign Packet v3. I’ve also procured the Mighty and Planetary Empires tiles and have been painting those up as well.

This campaign will be a continuance of the v2 campaign I ran (and sadly, never finished) last year. The dangling story-line will help me kick this one off. And what is that story-line? Well I’m glad you asked! Continue Reading
